Cylinder Actuation Timer

Overview

This project focuses on the development of a cylinder actuation timer system designed to detect potential faults in a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder based on its actuation time. The system monitors the time taken for the cylinder to extend and retract during normal operation and compares it against predefined acceptable thresholds. Any deviation beyond these limits is flagged as a fault, indicating possible issues such as air leaks, mechanical wear, misalignment, or pressure inconsistencies. The project utilizes an Arduino microcontroller, a sensor to detect the position of the cylinder, and an OLED display to provide visual feedback.
